General description

Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor is a heparin-binding growth factor essential for maintaining pluripotency in stem cells, promoting proliferation of fibroblasts and endothelial cells, and supporting neural progenitor expansion. It is one of the most widely used growth factors in cell culture applications. Recombinant Salmon bFGF Protein (Y00321S) is expressed from E. coli cells. It contains AA Met1-Arg155 (Accession # XP_014067501.1), and is widely used in  cell-cultured poultry meat production and developmental biology.
