Taq DNA Polymerase(Glycerol-free)

Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase expressed in the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus, with a molecular weight of 94 kDa. It exhibits 5'→3' polymerase activity and very low 5'→3' exonuclease activity, but lacks 3'→5' exonuclease activity. Consequently, during DNA polymerization, it functions as a nucleotidyltransferase.

In PCR reactions, this enzyme has an extension rate of 1-2 kb/minute. PCR products contain a single 'A' overhang at the 3' end, enabling direct use in T/A vector cloning. 

The enzyme is free from contaminating foreign nucleases and bacterial genomic DNA, demonstrating excellent stability and high specificity. It is suitable for routine PCR amplification, RT-PCR, and generates products directly compatible with TA cloning.
