Hotstart Taq DNA polymerase (Glycerol-free)

HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase is a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase obtained by mixing Taq antibody and Taq DNA polymerase in a specific ratio.

This HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase has both its 5'→3' polymerase activity and 5'→3' exonuclease activity blocked. After heating at the initial denaturation temperature for 1 minute, the blocking antibody on this HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase is completely inactivated, thereby releasing both the DNA polymerase activity and exonuclease activity.

This dual-blocking feature not only effectively prevents non-specific amplification caused by mismatches or primer dimers but also effectively inhibits the decrease in fluorescent signal resulting from probe degradation. This dual safeguard enhances the stability of in vitro diagnostic reagents during transportation or room-temperature use. Furthermore, no detectable 3'→5' exonuclease activity was observed in this product, making it suitable for qPCR detection.PCR products amplified using this reagent possess a single 'A' overhang at the 3' end and are directly applicable for TA cloning.

Additionally, this product features a completely glycerol-free formulation, combining the feasibility of lyophilization with the excellent performance and stability of the glycerol-based HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase.  This product contains no excipients, allowing customers to customize their own additions as needed.
